Mailing list members are users that have signed up for a particular list to receive periodic emails, such as weekly newsletters. If the mailing list client software that is used to manage the list allows it, you can also include mailing list members manually, but in this case such emails may be considered unsolicited and reported as spam by the users. Typically, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking a link in the messages they receive, or you, as the mailing list moderator, can manually remove them in case they make such a request or in case you decide that some of the mailing list members should not be part of the list any longer. Each mailing list member will be able to view only their own address in the "To" section of the emails they receive, but not the email addresses of the remaining members of the mailing list.

Mailing List Members in Cloud Web Hosting

The feature-loaded Majordomo mailing list manager that comes with our Linux cloud web hosting packages will give you complete command over the members of any list that you set up via the Hepsia Control Panel. You will be able to add or remove mailing list members by sending an email to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can achieve this from any place without even having to sign in to the Control Panel. If you add a mailing list member manually, they will get a confirmation request that they need to agree to in order to join the mailing list. If they do that, they will get an email message with the list’s rules and options. You will also be able to see a thorough list of all your mailing list subscribers and to keep an eye on who’s receiving your newsletters or any other sort of regular online correspondence.

Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Hosting

If you get a semi-dedicated server through us and you create mailing lists through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you’ll be able to manage all your mailing list subscribers without any difficulty. We offer one of the most popular mailing list client programs called Majordomo. It will allow you to view all your mailing list subscribers, to add new or to remove existing ones by sending an email message to the mailing list’s administrative email address, so you can administer everything without even needing to log into your Control Panel. Of course, only you, as the mailing list moderator, will be able to do that. New subscribers will have to approve their membership, so the messages that you send will be legitimate and you won’t need to worry about email messages being reported as spam. We’ve also got a handful of how-to articles where you can find more info about how to manage the mailing list.
